Gather Chair

Living in a small apartment, I am always looking for efficient and playful ways to utilize space. My goal here was to create a chair that not only provided a place to sit, but also a place to gather. When the top half is removed, the area below is transformed into a small table and floor chair (inspired by my kotatsu—where I spent most of my time within my Japanese apartment).
