A little bit about myself…
Over the past few years, I’ve worked with a variety of materials and mediums (wood, metal, animation, weaving) that have each presented their own unique challenges. A through line in my work, however, is an interest in constructing a world, and conveying narrative through movement and compelling visuals. The ideas I contend with in my work are sometimes darker and more serious, but I have always approached it with a sense of playfulness and whimsicality. This approach represents perhaps one way in which we might come to terms with life’s absurdities and contradictions.
